**Job Title:** Founding iOS/MacOS App Developer (AI)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and delivery of on‑device AI features for a wellness companion app across iOS and macOS. Own the native Swift codebase from concept through App Store release while integrating computer‑vision, machine‑learning, and LLM‑based agent workflows. Drive performance, reliability, and modularity in a high‑performance, low‑resource mobile environment.
**Expectations:**
- 3+ years of professional iOS/macOS development with proven Swift deliverables.
- Deep expertise in on‑device AI (Vision, Core ML, CreateML, LLM integration).
- Strong command of Swift concurrency (GCD, async/await) and memory‑efficient architecture.
- Experience with backend cloud services (GCP, Firebase) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Portfolio of live App Store apps and GitHub repositories demonstrating design patterns, testing, and performance tuning.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Own end‑to‑end feature development: prototyping, API design, unit/integration/UI testing, and App Store deployment.
2. Architect and maintain a modular, testable Swift codebase with clear separation of concerns.
3. Build background services, OS integrations, and efficient video/animation pipelines to maintain <50 ms latency.
4. Integrate computer‑vision modules, on‑device machine‑learning models, and remote LLMs into user flows.
5. Profile, optimize, and manage CPU, GPU, memory, and power consumption across iOS and macOS.
6. Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and enforce automated test coverage in CI/CD.
7. Collaborate closely with founders and cross‑functional teams to implement product strategy and feature backlog.
**Required Skills:**
- Swift (13/14+, native UI frameworks).
- iOS/macOS app architecture, SwiftUI/UIKit, App Store submission process.
- Core ML, Vision, CreateML, model optimization, LLM integration.
- Swift concurrency, GCD, multithreading, and memory profiling tools.
- API integration with GCP services, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions).
- Git, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- XCTest, SwiftTest, UI testing, automated test pipelines.
- Performance tuning (GPU/CPU, memory management).
- (Optional) Python, C++ for AI/vision model development.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- No specific certifications required, though knowledge of Apple Developer Program and Google Cloud certifications is a plus.
