Job Description
**Job title** IT Systems Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and support integrated enterprise applications to improve system reliability, performance, and business efficiency. Works closely with technical and business stakeholders to analyze issues, implement solutions, automate processes, and document design decisions. **Expectations** - Deliver high‐quality code and solutions on schedule. - Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical teams. - Own the full lifecycle of defect resolution and improvement initiatives. - Maintain ownership, accountability, and transparency in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze system behavior, investigate root causes, and design long‑term solutions for integrated systems. - Collaborate with technical teams to resolve incidents and implement sustainable fixes. - Monitor support trends, recommend preventive measures, and document findings. - Educate stakeholders and help desk staff on common issue resolutions. - Design configuration changes and integrations following coding standards. - Contribute to technical design discussions and impact documentation. - Identify automation and process improvement opportunities. - Develop and execute unit, system, regression, and acceptance tests; maintain test artifacts. - Partner with product owners, SMEs, QA, and other IS groups to share status, risks, and decisions. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of professional software development experience. - Proficiency in Java with Spring or equivalent object‑oriented language. - Experience troubleshooting complex integrated systems and relational databases (SQL Server). - Knowledge of REST APIs, messaging, integration patterns, and log diagnostics. - Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps (or similar). - Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and communication abilities. - Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
