**Job Title:** Senior System Engineer (IT Infrastructure)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and networking) for a regulated pharma/biotech manufacturing site. Serve as the subject‑matter expert and primary liaison for network‑related projects supporting manufacturing, quality control, and engineering teams, ensuring secure, reliable, and high‑performance systems while complying with GMP and health‑authority regulations.
**Expectations:**
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure within regulated pharma/biotech environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage system onboarding, patching, upgrades, and integrations across IT and OT domains.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proven track record of incident resolution following ITIL processes.
- Effective cross‑functional communication, documentation, and training delivery.
- Ability to work onsite in GMP labs/manufacturing facilities and coordinate with global teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer and monitor local servers, storage, virtual environments, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Provide technical support and incident resolution for manufacturing, QC, and corporate users.
- Plan, configure, and execute system integrations (MES, ERP, LIMS, QMS, LMS, validation/test systems).
- Maintain up‑to‑date system architecture diagrams, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Proactively identify and remediate performance, security, and reliability issues.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows with global IT teams.
- Deliver training on system best practices, security, and new functionalities.
- Produce performance and incident reports for IT and business leadership.
**Required Skills:**
- Enterprise infrastructure management (servers, storage, virtualization, OS, cloud).
- Network support and IT/OT convergence knowledge.
- Technical troubleshooting, incident, problem, and change management (ITIL).
- Documentation, compliance reporting, and audit readiness.
- Cross‑functional communication and training facilitation.
- Familiarity with GMP, health‑authority regulations, and secure system architecture for computerized systems.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Additional industry‑specific certifications or training in regulated environments considered a plus.
