Job Description
**Job Title** Intern, Digital IC Design & Verification **Role Summary** Support the IC Design and Verification team by assisting in digital design verification, debugging, and test development. Gain hands‑on experience with industry‑standard EDA tools, verification methodologies, and scripting languages while contributing to semiconductor projects. **Expectations** - Commit ≥ 20 hours per week during the internship period. - Work independently and collaboratively with engineers. - Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail. - Communicate professionally in both written and verbal forms. - Be legally authorized to work in the UK without restriction and pass a background check. **Key Responsibilities** - Verify and debug digital circuit designs. - Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and verification scripts. - Apply assertion‑based verification techniques to support verification flow. - Analyze design specifications and verification reports with senior engineers. - Participate in learning sessions on IC design and verification methodologies. **Required Skills** - Basic understanding of digital circuits and IC design concepts. - Familiarity with EDA simulation/verification tools (preferred). - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL. - Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. - Self‑motivated learner with a positive attitude and willingness to ask questions. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. - Must be 18 years or older. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or project experience is advantageous.
