Job Description
Job title: Director, Business Analytics Role Summary: Lead data strategy and analytics operations for a national healthcare organization, driving data‑driven business growth, operational excellence, and AI/ML integration across the enterprise. Expectations: • Deliver a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives. • Build and mentor a high‑performing remote data team. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance. • Scale data capabilities in a fast‑growing, mid‑sized healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute data strategy and roadmap. • Oversee data lake, ETL, data governance, and modern data stack (Azure, Power BI). • Drive AI/ML initiatives (predictive models, recommendation engines). • Partner with business stakeholders and executives to identify analytics opportunities. • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and report insights to leadership. • Foster cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Required Skills: • 10+ years in data science/analytics, 5+ in leadership. • Expertise in data modeling, ETL, data governance, and security. • Advanced knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and Power BI. • Proven AI/ML application experience. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and remote team leadership. • Understanding of data privacy regulations. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). • Certifications in Data Management or Cloud Technologies (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Certified Data Management Professional) are a plus.
