Job Description: Job Title: Senior Scrum Master Role Summary: A seasoned Scrum Master who leads and coaches cross‑functional Agile teams through full project lifecycles, ensuring delivery of business value, continuous improvement, and alignment with product strategy. Expactations: - 5+ years proven Scrum Master / Agile Coach experience in software/IT or business transformation environments. - Leadership of at least two end‑to‑end Agile projects. - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent (PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI‑ACP). - Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Coach teams, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices. - Remove impediments and protect teams from external distractions. - Collaborate with product owners on backlog refinement and prioritization. - Foster transparency, trust, self‑organization, and accountability. - Track and report progress using velocity, burndown, and other metrics. - Drive continuous improvement—identify process enhancements and delivery efficiencies. - Ensure adherence to best practices and adapt approaches to team needs. - Champion Agile adoption across the organization and collaborate with other Scrum Masters/Coaches. - Stay current with Agile trends, tools, and methodologies to bring innovative practices to the team. Required Skills: - Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and other Agile frameworks. - Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.) for backlog management and reporting. - Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to coach teams on TDD, CI, and other Agile engineering practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Proactive problem‑solving and initiative in addressing team challenges. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI‑ACP.
