**Job Title:** Program Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and oversee the execution of medium‑to‑large utility and enterprise technology projects, ensuring delivery quality, adherence to schedules, and stakeholder alignment. Act as the primary escalation point for project managers and a key participant in executive steering committees. **Expectations:** - Perform owner‑level oversight of multiple PMs and their projects. - Maintain forecast accuracy and status reporting cadence. - Resolve vendor and operational impediments; coordinate escalations. - Deliver consistent quality and adherence to scope across projects totaling up to $40 M in aggregate. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as first‑level escalation for assigned projects and project managers. - Conduct weekly 1:1s with PMs; participate in project and steering committee meetings. - Review and refine project forecasts; ensure status reports meet cadence and quality. - Support vendor management, addressing invoicing/performance issues and escalating when necessary. - Facilitate communication among cross‑business‑unit stakeholders. - Guide projects through COTS implementations, system integrations, hardware refreshes, and cloud migrations. **Required Skills:** - 7+ years of progressive project/program management in large, matrixed organizations. - Proven leadership of PM teams and experience with executive steering committees. - Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation abilities; adept at difficult conversations and boundary setting. - Ability to manage projects ranging from $200 K to $15–20 M, with aggregate oversight of ~$40 M. - Utility sector experience preferred; Fortune 500 exposure acceptable. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. - PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. ---
