**Job Title:** Web Developer
**Role Summary:** Develop and maintain mission-critical web applications for government agencies using Java-based technologies in Agile/DevOps environments. Contribute to large-scale application development, maintenance, and security.
**Expectations:** Advanced coding proficiency, application security knowledge, and experience with Java, Spring Framework, Angular, and cloud-based architectures. Requires collaboration on complex systems for public-sector clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and test web applications using Java 11/21, Spring/Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Maintain legacy systems with Java 8, Struts, Hibernate, jQuery, and Subversion.
- Convert Figma Material Design to Angular code where applicable.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Implement REST APIs, distributed architecture patterns, and database integrations (Postgres, Informix, SQL).
**Required Skills:**
- Java (11, 21), Spring Boot (2.6, 3), Spring JDBC, Spring Security
- Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, PWA development
- Database technologies (Postgres, Informix, SQL), JPA, Hibernate
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps workflows

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
