Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Project Portfolio Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide end‑to‑end support for the organization’s Project Management Framework over a 3‑month contract. Manage portfolio governance, project intake, and resource planning while delivering performance metrics and continuous improvement recommendations. **Expectations:** - Deliver complete project artifacts (business cases, change requests, status reports). - Facilitate project approval processes with senior management and steering committees. - Monitor KPIs, risks, and compliance; suggest enhancements to project workflows. - Maintain accurate resource forecasting and capacity tool. - Align projects with strategic objectives through intake, ideation, and prioritization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support delivery and governance of the PMF and portfolio processes. - Prepare and present business cases, change requests, and updates to SMC and ITSC. - Track and report portfolio KPIs, progress, risks, and compliance. - Manage the project portal capacity tool for accurate resourcing. - Facilitate intake, ideation, and prioritization, balancing strategic alignment. - Audit and improve PMO processes; recommend best practices for planning, delivery, and monitoring. - Participate in CAB meetings and support change management activities. - Coordinate release deployments, production risk, and rollback planning. - Engage stakeholders, push back, and reprioritize when necessary. **Required Skills:** - Project portfolio / PMO framework experience. - Strong analytical, systems‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. - 2–3 years in an IT analyst, project analyst, or PMO support role. - Minimum 5 years IT experience in development, analysis, architecture, or leadership roles. - Proven change‑management support, milestone tracking, and deadline fulfillment. - Release coordination, production risk management, and rollback planning. - Stakeholder management, negotiation, and prioritization skills. - Familiarity with APIs, server environments, system upgrades. - Excellent communication, organization, and documentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Post‑secondary degree in Business, Technology, or related discipline. - Optional certifications in PMO, PMP, PRINCE2, or similar. ---
