Job Description

Network Engineer (Hybrid) Role Summary: Manage and maintain enterprise networks, ensuring operational reliability, security, and performance. Extend and enhance network infrastructure to align with business needs. Expactations: Ensure network uptime, resolve disruptions, implement security frameworks, and provide on-call support. Deliver timely upgrades based on business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Support LAN, WAN, wireless, and security systems (Cisco, Palo Alto) - Implement access controls and security remediations for attack vectors - Deploy patching/update programs for network infrastructure - Analyze complex systems, troubleshoot network issues independently - Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents - Deploy/maintain Infoblox DDI systems and oversee cabling installs - Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), wireless security, and segmentation Required Skills: - Advanced routing/switching (TCP/UDP, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS) - Proficiency in Cisco VSS/VRF, Palo Alto NGFW/GlobalProtect - Experience with Infoblox DDI and network access control (e.g., MAB, policy enforcement) - Problem-solving for real-time network disruptions - Technical communication with non-technical stakeholders - Cabling standard interpretation and installation oversight Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field - 8+ years enterprise network design/implementation experience - Valid US work authorization (USC/TN Visa/Green Card)
