Job Description

**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and automation, supporting modernization initiatives using AWS, EKS, Terraform, and service mesh technologies. **Expectations:** Minimum 4–8 years of hands-on experience in core DevOps, cloud architecture, and automation. Requires proficiency in Terraform, AWS, EKS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices in cloud environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure as code using Terraform (TypeScript) and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Cognito). - Architect, deploy, and manage service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio) within EKS environments. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for automated deployments. - Oversee containerized application deployment, microservices architecture, and Helm chart management. - Ensure secure and efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS security practices and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS). - Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver complex technical projects. **Required Skills:** - Extensive Terraform (TypeScript) configuration development. - Advanced AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) environments design and support. - Service mesh (Istio) deployment and management expertise. - CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins, GitHub tools. - Docker, Helm, and microservices-based architecture experience. - Scripting and scripting automation in TypeScript and Python. - Cloud networking and security best practices (AWS focus). **Required Education & Certifications:** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer (preferred).
