Job Title: Senior OutSystems Developer Care Champions
Job Description: **Job title** Senior OutSystems Developer – Care Champions **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and maintenance of OutSystems 11 applications supporting health and volunteer services. Work within a 5‑developer agile team to deliver user‑friendly solutions for millions of members, focusing on mobile and web platforms. Balance new feature creation (70%) with application optimization and maintenance (30%) while collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, and QA. **Expectations** - Deliver functional code within sprint timelines, achieving at least one production release per sprint. - Conduct functional unit tests, peer code reviews, and collaborate on User Story implementation. - Provide technical improvement proposals and defend them to the team and architects. - Engage stakeholders to clarify priorities, progress, and acceptance criteria. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and extend OutSystems applications (mobile & web, React) for core services such as elderly/patient care, transportation, and expense management. - Participate in architecture discussions and implement approved designs. - Lead functional testing of own code and review peers’ code for quality and performance. - Co‑manage User Stories, back‑log refinement, and sprint planning in Scrum. - Analyze and design integrations with external systems. - Coordinate with infrastructure teams for deployment, monitoring, and support. - Document solutions for maintainability and knowledge transfer. **Required Skills** - 3+ years experience as an OutSystems developer (mobile and React). - Proficiency in OutSystems 11, UI/UX, and web development fundamentals. - Experience deploying and rolling out applications in production environments. - Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices (roles, ceremonies, velocity). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and synthesis capabilities. - Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus. - Proactive, results‑oriented, resilient under stress, and eager to learn continuously. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - OutSystems Developer Certificate (ODC) preferred; other OutSystems certifications are a plus. ---
