Job title: Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager with extensive experience in financial reconciliations and banking operations. Drives end‑to‑end project lifecycle, aligning IT solutions with finance, operations, and compliance requirements to enhance trade, payment, and cash‑management processes.
Expactations:
- 7+ years of senior BA/PM experience in banking or financial services.
- Proven expertise in financial instrument trade life‑cycle, including fixed income, equities, ETDs, OTC derivatives, and FX.
- Strong background in Swift payments, cash‑management messaging, and trade clearing and settlement.
- Ability to work across multiple global teams on complex, concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; produce FRDs/BRDs, process flows, and project plans.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal guidelines.
- Design, configure, and automate financial reports and reconciliation workflows using PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, IntelliMatch, Proactive, Duco, or similar tools.
- Develop complex SQL queries (MySQL, PL/SQL, Oracle) for data extraction and reporting.
- Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, coordinating between Finance, Ops, Compliance, and IT stakeholders.
- Utilize Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and MS Office to track progress, risks, and deliverables.
Required Skills:
- Financial industry (banking) domain knowledge; expertise in FI, EQ, ETDs, OTC derivatives, FX.
- Technical proficiency: Swift messaging, MQ, NDM, SFTP, SQL (MySQL, PL/SQL, Oracle).
- Business intelligence: PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, IntelliMatch, Proactive, Duco.
- Project management tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Office.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or similar are a plus.
