Job Description
**Job Title:** Vice President, Technology Infrastructure **Role Summary:** Lead the strategic technology vision, planning, and operations for all AdventHealth locations outside the Rocky Mountain Region. Oversee Network/Telco, Data Center Operations, Cloud Services, Enterprise Solutions, and Disaster Recovery. Collaborate with regional CIOs and executive leadership to align IT services with organizational goals, manage budgets, vendor contracts, and staff, and champion IT Service Management (ITSM) practices. **Expactations:** - Deliver measurable business value through technology initiatives while controlling costs. - Maintain and improve service delivery standards, ensuring consistent fulfillment of agreed SLAs. - Provide strategic leadership and innovative solutions that support hospital operations, practices, urgent care, home health, and enterprise systems. - Act as a key member of the Corporate CTO Executive Committee, influencing companywide IT strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap supporting the organization’s strategic vision. - Manage end‑to‑end operations for Network/Telco, Data Center, Cloud, and Disaster Recovery services. - Develop and enforce technology standards, policies, and service level agreements (SLAs). - Lead IT lifecycle management, optimizing capital and operational expenditures. - Negotiate and oversee third‑party vendor contracts (telco, cloud, hosting, disaster recovery). - Drive adoption of ITSM frameworks, ensuring documented SOPs and process compliance. - Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies; evaluate, pilot, and integrate relevant solutions. - Prepare and manage the technology operating budget; report on financial performance to the Corporate CTO. - Build and mentor a high‑performing technology team; determine appropriate staffing levels. **Required Skills:** - Strategic planning and execution in large‑scale healthcare IT environments. - Deep technical expertise in Network/Telco, Data Center operations, Cloud Services, and Disaster Recovery. - Vendor management, contract negotiation, and third‑party relationship stewardship. - Budgeting, financial acumen, and cost‑optimization strategies. - Proven application of ITSM/ITIL principles and lifecycle management. - Leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and influence at executive level. - Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making under complex, dynamic conditions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Advanced certifications preferred: ITIL Foundation / Expert, PMP, CISSP / CISM, and/or vendor‑specific credentials (e.g., CCIE, MCSE, CA-Cloud).
