Job title: Senior SOC Analyst Role Summary: Operationally lead and enhance the SOC’s threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities within a Microsoft-centric security stack, primarily Microsoft Defender, MS Sentinel, MS Entra ID, and on‑prem Active Directory. Expectations: - Provide consistent, proactive monitoring and remediation of security alerts across Sentinel and Defender. - Drive automation and efficiency by developing Sentinel workflows, workbooks, and Kusto queries. - Conduct detailed investigations using MS Threat Explorer, Advanced Hunting, and forensic data. - Configure and maintain security controls for Exchange transport rules and Defender tenant block/allow lists. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with security, IT, and operations teams to close incidents and improve posture.
