Job Title: Azure DevOps
Role Summary
Senior Azure DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud environments, data pipelines, and AI solutions. Focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, data integration, and AI model deployment.
Expectations
- Deliver end‑to‑end cloud and DevOps solutions that meet security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Collaborate closely with data science, analytics, and application teams to integrate AI and data services.
- Maintain and optimize Azure resources and DevOps pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Azure cloud resources, including creation of virtual machines, networks, and storage using Terraform and ARM templates.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF), PySpark, SQL, and Databricks.
- Configure and manage Azure Functions, Web Apps, and other platform services.
- Deploy and manage OpenAI models within Azure AI Studio and integrate them into application workflows.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps tooling.
- Oversee Databricks administration and development, ensuring best practices for cluster usage and job scheduling.
- Implement AI search indexing, chunking, embeddings, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns for chatbot scenarios.
- Contribute to ML Ops practices using Azure Machine Learning, MCP servers, and AI search services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, applying performance tuning and cost‑optimization strategies.
Required Skills
- Azure Cloud Administration (Azure portal, resource groups, IAM, networking).
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM templates.
- Scripting and programming: Python, PySpark, SQL.
- Azure Data Services: ADF, Databricks, Azure Functions, Web Apps.
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipeline design.
- AI/ML deployment in Azure: Azure AI Studio, OpenAI model integration.
- Databricks administration and development (cluster management, job scheduling).
- Knowledge of Power Platform and AI search services.
- Familiarity with ML Ops, Azure Machine Learning, MCP servers, and AI search (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent.
- Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or related certification.
- Python or Spark developer certification (optional).
- Azure Machine Learning or AI Fundamentals certification (preferred).
