**Job Title**
Data Protection Officer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Senior-level DPO responsible for ensuring GDPR, Data Act, and national privacy law compliance across all company entities and subsidiaries worldwide. Acts under the Group Ethics and Compliance Director and leads data protection policy implementation, risk assessments, and collaboration with IT security.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 10 years of legal or compliance experience with deep expertise in GDPR and privacy frameworks.
- Master’s degree in law, information‑systems security, compliance or equivalent.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1).
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, communicate persuasively, and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Drive GDPR, Data Act, and national data protection compliance for all personal data processing.
2. Maintain and update the processing register; analyze purposes, legal bases, retention, and data flows.
3. Develop and refine internal procedures: rights‑request handling, breach management, contractor clauses, and privacy notices.
4. Provide training and counsel to data controllers, business units, and staff on data protection obligations.
5. Conduct continuous legal, technological, and sectoral surveillance; recommend adaptations.
6. Lead or supervise DPIA/AIPD for high‑risk processing.
7. Partner with IT security (RSSI/DGSI) on audits, action plans, and data‑security policy.
8. Determine technical and organizational measures (privacy‑by‑design) for IT projects.
9. Perform level‑2 internal controls, audits, treatment reviews, and accountability documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced knowledge of GDPR, Data Act, and national privacy statutes.
- Strong understanding of information‑system architecture and cybersecurity controls.
- Experience with data protection impact assessments and breach response.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in law, information‑systems security, compliance, or equivalent.
- Proven professional experience equivalent to a senior data protection or legal role.
- English language proficiency (oral and written, B2/C1).
