Job Title: Network Engineer – Azure DevOps
Role Summary: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure while embedding automation and CI/CD workflows within Azure DevOps pipelines.
Expectations: Deliver robust, secure, and highly available network services; automate provisioning and configuration; collaborate with DevOps to integrate network components into CI/CD processes; uphold best practices for performance, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and operationalize LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Configure Azure networking services (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Script and automate network provisioning and management with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply optimizations.
- Enforce security controls—firewalls, IPS/IDS, Zero Trust—and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement cycles.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure networking stack.
- Hands‑on Azure DevOps experience (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with IaC tools: Terraform, ARM, Bicep.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-303/304), or equivalent security credentials.
