Job Description

**Job Title**: Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, and maintain client‑service related backend and frontend systems. Lead technical architecture discussions, implement cloud‑agnostic, containerized, and serverless solutions using AWS and Kubernetes, and improve CI/CD, observability, and production reliability. **Expectations**: - Deliver high‑quality, scalable services in an agile environment. - Autonomously troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement. - Mentor peers through code reviews and engineering standards enforcement. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend services for Client Services and Shared Services. 2. Architect scalable, maintainable solutions and contribute to technical discussions. 3. Implement serverless components (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB) on AWS. 4. Build and manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS. 5. Collaborate with DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment processes. 6. Conduct code reviews, establish testing strategies, and enforce engineering standards. 7. Troubleshoot production incidents and implement root‑cause analyses. 8. Support test automation and integrate it within delivery pipelines. **Required Skills**: - 5+ years of software engineering experience. - Backend/Frontend development with Java, Python, or Node.js. - React and GraphQL expertise. - Object‑oriented programming proficiency. - Cloud‑based, serverless, and containerized application development. - Hands‑on AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB). - Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience. - Infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform (or equivalent). - CI/CD, Git‑based workflows, automated testing. - Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Graduate degree preferred. - AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are a plus.
