Job Description: **Job Title**: Planning Engineer (H/F) **Role Summary** Lead the development, maintenance, and reporting of project schedules for large-scale industrial EPC projects in the energy, chemical, oil, and gas sectors. Ensure accurate integration of project activities, critical path analysis, and stakeholder coordination to keep projects on time and within scope. **Expectations** - Deliver and update a master schedule (primarily Primavera P6) and status dashboards. - Coordinate closely with project, discipline, and client teams to incorporate all activities and resource commitments. - Conduct critical‑path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate schedule risks. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and maintain the reference project schedule and progress tracking tables. - Verify inclusion of all activities, including client and third‑party inputs. - Coordinate with discipline leads to confirm dates, durations, dependencies, and weighting. - Perform critical‑path (and alternative path) analysis. - Liaise with project management and discipline teams for data accuracy. - Participate in project reviews, coordination meetings, and execution strategy decisions. - Update the schedule and progress reports on a monthly basis. - Analyze task delays and upcoming tasks; propose corrective measures. - Support scheduling of execution activities and overall project monitoring. - Structure all project activities from initiation to completion. **Required Skills** - Minimum 10 years of planning experience on large EPC projects in energy, chemical, or oil & gas. - Proficiency in Primavera P6 (scheduling, reporting, resource leveling). - Ability to read P&ID diagrams and input data for 3‑D models and E&I cycles. - Strong analytical skills for critical‑path evaluation. - Working knowledge of Google Sheets is a plus. - Fluent in English (written and spoken). - Proactive, curious, and possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline). - Professional certifications in scheduling (e.g., Primavera P6 Certification, PMI‑PMP, or equivalent) are preferred.
