Job title: Senior Salesforce Developer (M/F)
Role Summary:
Lead the design, development, and secure deployment of Salesforce solutions for the Customer Knowledge team within a leading insurance group. Collaborate across functions to translate business requirements into technical specifications, architect scalable foundations, implement new features, and ensure high quality with zero defects.
Expectations:
• 7+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development, architecture, and integration.
• Proven expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong command of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, REST/SOAP APIs, data migration, and integration tools.
• Confluence, Jira, version control (Git) fluency.
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly, synthesize complex information, and communicate effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated initiative and collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse business needs and produce functional & technical specifications.
• Define Salesforce architecture and technical foundations (e.g., data model, security, integration points).
• Write clean, test‑driven Apex code and Lightning components.
• Manage data migration, integration, and deployment pipelines (Git, CI/CD).
• Enforce best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Deliver defect‑free releases (zero bug goal).
• Mentor and support junior developers.
• Participate in steering committees and product roadmap discussions.
Required Skills:
• Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce).
• Integration experience (REST/SOAP, middleware such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi).
• Strong understanding of data modelling, security models, flow, process builder, and custom metadata.
• Agile/ Scrum mastery (Sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives).
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork.
• English proficiency (technical and business).
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (or equivalent).
• Additional architecture or integration certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer) preferred.
