Deliver 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of infrastructure performance, security, and reliability. **Expectations** - Rapid owner of critical services and platform stability. - Proactive problem resolution with minimal client impact. - Participate in 24/7 on‑call rota. - Maintain clear documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to technical incidents, alerts, and escalations, working closely with support teams. - Manage day‑to‑day Azure cloud infrastructure and optimize performance. - Administer Linux servers and Plesk web hosting environments, ensuring stability and security. - Implement and verify backup procedures, access controls, and security configurations. - Create and update runbooks, platform documentation, and handover notes. - Collaborate with senior engineers on automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement projects. **Required Skills** - Basic IT infrastructure knowledge; preference for CompTIA A+/Network+ or Azure Fundamentals certification. - Competent Linux command‑line skills (SSH, file systems, shell scripting). - Familiarity with DNS, SSL/TLS, web servers (Apache, Nginx), and networking fundamentals. - Introductory experience with Azure cloud services and concepts. - Strong troubleshooting, research, and clear technical communication. - Self‑motivated, organized, and accountable; eager to learn and take initiative. **Required Education & Certifications** - Entry‑level IT education or apprenticeship, or an equivalent technical background. - Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Azure Fundamentals (or similar).
