Job Description
Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant – Customer Service (Apprentice) Role Summary: An apprentice will support the supply chain and customer service functions for a food industry client by managing client orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating logistics, handling after‑sales issues, monitoring penalties, and facilitating invoicing. Expactations: • 1‑year apprenticeship starting 1 September 2026. • Autonomy, organization, and strong analytical skills. • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork across sales, logistics, and accounting. • Initiative, curiosity, and a proactive approach to proposing solutions. • Proficiency in the English language (written and oral). Key Responsibilities: • Contact clients daily to ensure smooth communication and update them on order status, deliveries, and stock shortages. • Track and resolve order issues in coordination with the EDI team, warehouses, and transport services. • Manage supply levels to guarantee product availability while optimizing inventory. • Process after‑sales complaints, returns, and disputes, ensuring timely resolution. • Monitor client‑issued penalties, contest and negotiate disputes, and coordinate with the IBM team for invoicing and credit management. Required Skills: • Advanced Excel (VBA, queries). • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent written and oral communication. • Team orientation and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. • Proficiency in English. + Knowledge of SAP (preferred). Required Education & Certifications: • Pursuing a Bac +4/5 degree in business, engineering, or university studies with a focus on supply chain. • No specific certifications required; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
