**Job title:** Senior Contracts Administrator
**Role Summary:**
Senior Contracts Administrator responsible for drafting, negotiating, and administrating commercial agreements within the nuclear supply‑chain sector. Ensures compliance with corporate policies, manages financial oversight, coordinates subcontractor performance, and provides guidance to project teams on contract matters.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate, timely contract documentation and financial reporting.
- Maintain high standards of compliance and risk management.
- Facilitate effective communication between project management, subcontractors, and corporate stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of contract administration processes and quality control.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review and recommend commercial agreements (RFQs, RFPs, NDAs, pre‑bid agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, consortium and joint venture contracts).
- Draft, amend, and maintain project‑specific contract administration manuals, tools, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with subcontract formation and project teams to coordinate award handover and performance security (performance bonds, letters of credit, guarantees).
- Manage contract change order logs, KPI scorecards, and vendor performance assessments.
- Facilitate subcontractor payments, including processing progress billings and back charges.
- Prepare monthly accruals, cost reporting, and estimated final cost analyses for financial reporting.
- Coordinate claims, notices of change, and client communications.
- Conduct financial reviews of subcontractors pre‑award.
- Provide quality control on all client‑delivered documents and finalized packages.
- Collaborate with Legal and other corporate groups as needed.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced knowledge of contract administration procedures and commercial risk mitigation.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for a variety of contract types.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word; SAP experience is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, judgment, and leadership abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Effective time‑management and planning skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Communications, Paralegal Studies, or a related engineering discipline.
- Career progression from quantity surveyor to senior/lead contract administrator is preferred.
