Incident Manager Role Summary: Lead real-time incident response for high-impact technology disruptions, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure compliance with governance standards to minimize service interruptions. Expectations: Proven experience in enterprise-level incident management or technology operations. Experience in financial services or regulated industries. Requires leadership in high-pressure environments, ITSM proficiency, and cross-time zone collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead real-time incident resolution for critical technology disruptions. - Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and resolution efforts. - Draft and disseminate incident communications to stakeholders. - Assess severity, root cause, and business impact via monitoring tools. - Deliver timely updates to leadership and executive stakeholders. - Document incident timelines, resolutions, and post-incident reviews. - Maintain compliance with incident management policies and governance. - Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to restore services. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives through analysis and post-incident learning. - Ensure 24/7 incident readiness and escalation management. Required Skills: - Technical analysis of system logs and monitoring data. - Clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong organizational abilities to manage priorities under pressure. - Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with incident tracking tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Microsoft Teams). - Leadership of cross-functional teams in crisis scenarios. - Ability to interpret technical data for decision-making and reporting. - Experience with enterprise monitoring and analytics platforms. - Situational awareness and emotional intelligence in high-stress events. Required Education & Certifications: ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent.
