Job Description
Job title: Endpoint Security Analyst Role Summary: Secure and monitor enterprise endpoints (Windows, Linux, Mac) across workstations, laptops, and servers. Identify vulnerabilities, investigate incidents, and recommend mitigation strategies while collaborating with desktop support and server administration teams. Expectations: Deliver high-quality threat monitoring, incident analysis, and solution recommendations in a dynamic, high-performing security team. Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and maintain a continuous learning mindset to keep pace with evolving threats. Key Responsibilities: - Research industry trends and evaluate emerging security solutions. - Compile audit reports and identify risks to endpoints. - Monitor security logs and alerts from EDR, SIEM, and IDS/IPS systems. - Investigate endpoint incidents, determine root causes, and develop mitigation plans. - Conduct proactive risk and vulnerability assessments on endpoints. - Mentor junior analysts and share best practices. - Participate in on‑call rotation. Required Skills: - Proficiency with Windows, Linux, MacOS, Active Directory, and Group Policy. - Experience with remote response and remediation on endpoints. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities under pressure. - Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining technical issues to non‑technical audiences. - Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CySA+, ISC2 CC, or ISC2 CCSP preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience managing an endpoint security solution.
