Job Description
**Job Title** Frontend Team Lead **Role Summary** Lead a 5–10 person Frontend development team focused on Angular/Ionic. Report to the CTO and serve as the human and organizational pillar of the Frontend pillar, ensuring team cohesion, high-quality deliverables, and effective coordination with Product and Technical teams. **Expectations** - Manage a small development team, fostering autonomy and continuous improvement. - Maintain agile workflows, communication channels, and workload balance. - Oversee project planning, progress tracking, and quality assurance in alignment with the Product Owner. - Provide technical guidance without being the primary code contributor. **Key Responsibilities** - **Team Management & Development** – Lead, coach, and motivate developers; promote skill‑building and autonomy. - **Agile Coordination** – Facilitate ceremonies (stand‑ups, retrospectives, sprint planning); ensure clear communication with Product and other technical units. - **Workload & Delivery Oversight** – Balance task distribution, monitor deadlines, and maintain commitment adherence. - **Project Planning & Tracking** – Collaborate with Product Owner to schedule releases; track progress and deliverables. - **Quality & Process Improvement** – Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. - **Technical Leadership** – Influence architecture and technology choices; enforce consistency and maintain technical quality. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of software development experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership or technical lead role. - Deep knowledge of Angular ecosystem (Angular, Ionic, NgRx, RxJS, TypeScript). - Strong understanding of agile frameworks and experience facilitating agile ceremonies. - Excellent communication, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to balance technical decision‑making with team empowerment. - Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing best practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s (Bac+5) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Optional certifications: Angular (or related framework) certification, Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM).
