Job Description
**Job title** IT Commercial Engineer **Role Summary** Field sales professional responsible for acquiring and retaining SME/TPE customers for managed IT services, including Office 365 licensing, cloud servers, hosting solutions, and cybersecurity products. Works closely with internal teams (sales, billing, planning) to tailor solutions to client needs, draft proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure post‑sale satisfaction. **Expactations** - Client‑centric mindset with strong sales acumen for IT services. - Proactive prospecting and portfolio development. - Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. - Team play with cross‑functional collaboration. - Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and qualify new prospects aligned with managed‑service offerings. - Conduct on‑site visits to assess client requirements and propose integrated IT solutions. - Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts. - Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring renewal and upsell opportunities. - Promote cybersecurity strategy and educate clients on risk mitigation. - Coordinate with internal commercial and technical teams for seamless delivery. - Report sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics to management. **Required Skills** - Proven sales experience in IT or infrastructure services (field or business development). - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Technical understanding of cloud computing, managed services, and cybersecurity concepts. - Self‑motivated, resilient, and goal‑driven with a solution‑oriented attitude. - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bac +2 to Bac +5 in commerce, business, or related field. - Minimum 2 years’ experience as an IT field sales engineer, business developer, or technical sales role. - Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+) are an asset.
