Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Manager, Client Reporting – Operations **Role Summary:** Lead the end‑to‑end development, production, and delivery of client reporting services across all wealth lines. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and client‑centric quality while driving process efficiencies and managing a reporting team. **Expectations:** - Deliver fully accurate, compliant, and timely client reports (trade confirmations, statements, CRM2, tax packages). - Maintain high data quality and reconciliation consistency across systems. - Continuously improve reporting processes and technology integration. - Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the team. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Oversee end‑to‑end production of trade confirmations, client/custodian statements, CRM2 reports, and supplementary tax packages. 2. Ensure alignment with client preferences, branding, and regulatory requirements (CIRO, CSA, tax, privacy). 3. Monitor data quality, reconciliation, and implement quality controls to minimize errors. 4. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of client reporting professionals; set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide training. 5. Lead regulatory audits and compliance reviews; implement corrective actions and stay current on regulatory changes. 6. Collaborate with Technology, Shared Services, and vendors to automate workflows, integrate reporting platforms with CRM, data warehouses, and client portals. 7. Identify and drive digitization and personalization initiatives for client reporting. 8. Engage stakeholders (portfolio managers, advisors, Client Experience, Marketing, Compliance) to address reporting needs and resolve escalated inquiries. 9. Present reporting strategies, performance metrics, and improvement proposals to senior leadership. **Required Skills:** - Deep knowledge of Canadian wealth‑management reporting (CIRO, CSA). - Proficiency in reporting platforms, CRM systems, and data‑management tools; advanced Excel required. - Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving abilities. - Proven team‑leadership and project‑management experience. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills. - Familiarity with automation, fintech trends, or programming (SQL, Python) is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. - Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred. - Minimum 8 years of client reporting/operations experience in wealth management or financial services, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
