**Job Title:** Senior Actuarial Analyst **Role Summary:** Conduct complex actuarial analyses to support business decisions through data-driven insights. Develop models, assess financial risks, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance strategic initiatives. **Expectations:** Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience or advanced degree without experience. Requires ACAS certification or near completion. Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, modeling, and regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform underwriting performance, profitability, and projection analyses. - Develop predictive models to evaluate risks and support strategic improvements. - Design tools and products to advance new or existing business initiatives. - Collaborate with underwriting, management, and finance teams to align actuarial strategies. - Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and financial risk factors. - Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on findings and recommendations. - Ensure actuarial practices align with regulatory standards. - Research market trends to refine model assumptions and improve accuracy. - Document methodologies, assumptions, and processes for transparency. - Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level analysts. - Leverage advanced actuarial software for complex calculations and scenario modeling. **Required Skills:** - Advanced data analysis and predictive modeling - Financial risk assessment and scenario forecasting - Clear communication of technical insights to non-technical stakeholders - Cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder engagement - Regulatory compliance knowledge (insurance/financial standards) **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. 2+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent advanced degree.
