**Job Title**
Warfighting Analysis Division (FDA) Support – DOD Support Services
**Role Summary**
Provide analytical expertise and programmatic support to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G‑8 Force Development Directorates. Deliver force development, modernization, equipment fielding, and readiness analyses to underpin the Army’s mission.
**Expectations**
- Execute rigorous operations‑research studies to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with senior Army leadership, translating analytic insights into actionable plans.
- Maintain data confidentiality and comply with security requirements (Active Secret Clearance).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct analytical studies using mathematical, statistical, and operations‑research techniques.
- Build, evaluate, and model modernization, resourcing, equipment distribution, and readiness scenarios, utilizing optimization software (e.g., SAS).
- Visualize analytical outputs with business‑intelligence tools (Qlik, Tableau).
- Collect, organize, and synthesize information from databases, sales histories, and stakeholder feedback.
- Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and reports to DCS G‑8 and Force Development Directorates.
- Support integration of tactical data systems and information streams into force‑development processes.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in operations‑research methods: systems analysis, simulation, optimization, probability, statistics.
- Experience modeling with SAS (or equivalent).
- Strong data visualization skills (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of presenting complex analyses to senior decision‑makers.
- Collaborative mindset; ability to work with cross‑functional military stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Systems or Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Active Secret Clearance (required).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Analysis, Systems/Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Desirable but not mandatory: completion of Army War College, Army Command and Staff College/ILE, ORSA MAC, or Acquisition Training courses.
