Job Description
**Job Title:** Fire & Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Execute first‑fix service repairs and high‑quality fire and security system installations while collaborating with a skilled team, maintaining client relationships, and delivering detailed reports in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. **Expectations:** - Proven experience in the fire and security sector. - Ability to work independently, show initiative, and manage time efficiently. - Strong adherence to fire and security standards, codes, and safety regulations. - Effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform first‑fix service repairs on fire and security equipment. - Install, test, and commission fire alarm and security systems to high‑quality standards. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery. - Maintain and nurture client relationships throughout project lifecycles. - Produce accurate and detailed service and installation reports. - Follow company procedures, health & safety policies, and industry best practices. **Required Skills:** - Comprehensive knowledge of fire alarm, detection, and suppression systems. - Familiarity with electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intruder alarms). - Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. - Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Clear verbal and written communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant vocational qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Fire Engineering, or Security Systems. - Certifications such as BAFE (Fire), NICETRACE (Security) or other recognized industry credentials preferred. - Valid CSCS or equivalent construction health & safety card.
