**Job Title**
Relativity Senior Systems Administrator
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain Automated Litigation Support (ALS) infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of Relativity and associated COTS tools across on‑premise and AWS environments. Provide leadership in system administration, documentation, and stakeholder access management.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 5 years of direct, hands‑on experience with litigation support platforms (Relativity, iPro, CaseMap, etc.).
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing complex, multi‑OS environments (Unix, Windows, storage, networking).
- Demonstrated ability to design, procure, install, integrate, and test large‑scale database and application systems.
- Strong communication skills and documented experience with system diagrams, admin guides, and end‑user documentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, configure, and deploy ALS solutions including COTS tools (Relativity, iPro, CaseMap).
2. Maintain ALS infrastructure (compute, storage, network) on‑premise and in AWS, ensuring scalability and high availability.
3. Manage external access and identity‑management for stakeholders (expert witnesses, attorneys, IRS collaborators).
4. Perform routine system maintenance: backups, restores, software patching, performance tuning, and monitoring.
5. Produce and update system diagrams, administrator guides, and end‑user documentation (minimum semi‑annual updates).
6. Provide weekly system health and performance reports; document completed projects and planned activities.
7. Collaborate with IT leadership on ALS application and infrastructure strategy.
**Required Skills**
- In‑depth knowledge of Relativity platform and ALS ecosystem.
- Experience with SQL Server (2012+), large‑scale database configuration, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in storage technologies, performance modeling, and distributed processing.
- Strong understanding of government IT environments, security requirements, and office automation networks.
- Competence with AWS cloud services and on‑premise integration.
- Excellent written and oral communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across multi‑OS environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **or** equivalent years of experience.
- Favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance (required).
