Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Product Manager – Healthcare Data Modernization **Role Summary** Lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of a multi‑year enterprise data migration from legacy on‑prem claims systems to a modern cloud‑based architecture in a healthcare payor setting, focusing on Medicare claims data. **Expectations** - 10 + years delivering enterprise software, managing full product life cycles in agile environments. - 5 + years as a Product Manager/Owner driving strategy, roadmap, and execution. - 5 + years in healthcare payor domain with direct exposure to claims platforms and Medicare data. - Proven leadership of large‑scale data migration or modernization programs with hands‑on data pipeline and governance experience. **Key Responsibilities** - Own product vision and roadmap for healthcare data migration & modernization. - Define and prioritize epics and initiatives aligned to enterprise transformation goals. - Partner with architecture, engineering, and data teams to design secure, scalable data pipelines. - Lead cross‑functional teams (business analysts, product owners, agile delivery) and mentor staff. - Manage executive stakeholders, communicate progress, risks, and value delivery. - Champion agile product practices and ensure alignment between business, technology, and operations. - Balance regulatory compliance, data integrity, and operational performance in product decisions. **Required Skills** - Product strategy, roadmap development, and execution in agile settings. - Deep knowledge of claims data pipelines, data governance, and secure data movement. - Experience with on‑prem to cloud application and database migration. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB or similar) preferred. - Working knowledge of engineering principles, APIs, and modern data architectures. - Ability to operate in regulated environments with a focus on data security and compliance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar) are a plus.
