Job title: TechOps Engineer
Role Summary:
TechOps Engineer responsible for support, administration, and monitoring of production environments for a digital asset trading platform. Provides 1st/2nd‑level application support, performs deep troubleshooting, builds and maintains observability stack, collaborates with development and product teams, and documents operational knowledge.
Expectations:
- Deliver rapid, reliable resolution of live production issues.
- Maintain high availability and performance across frontend, backend, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1st and 2nd level application support for virtual asset products.
2. Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, traces; identify bottlenecks in APIs, websockets, databases.
3. Debug code, develop hotfixes, coordinate peer review, and deploy to staging/production.
4. Monitor application health, manage alerts, and restore services quickly.
5. Collaborate on building an observability stack (logs, metrics, traces, notifications).
6. Test and deploy software, license, and security updates in coordination with engineering, product, and vendors.
7. Document knowledge base articles, operations manuals, and incident/problem management procedures.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#).
- 1–2 years of support experience in fintech, payment processing, or crypto trading environments.
- Deep knowledge of AWS (Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experience with Postman for API testing.
- SQL and PostgreSQL proficiency; relational and non‑relational database querying and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Coralogix, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Splunk, etc.).
- CI/CD and deployment pipeline setup (GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer/DevOps, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.
