**Job title**: Junior Technical Support Specialist
**Role Summary**
Provide operational support and continuous improvement for security and infrastructure technologies, aligning technical solutions with business value.
**Expectations**
- Maintain and troubleshoot applications, infrastructure, and security solutions in a large organization.
- Apply ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Demonstrate self‑starter attitude, influence stakeholders, and drive process enhancements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support existing technology stack (GitLab, Ansible, NXLog, etc.).
- Deploy and test solution components; validate integration points with internal and external teams.
- Monitor and log system events using platforms (Splunk, SIEM/Syslog).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, incident notes, and configuration records.
- Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- 2+ years of experience supporting application, infrastructure, and security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of web/application servers, database servers, Linux/Unix/AIX, workstations, networking, cloud, and automation.
- Scripting/automation proficiency: PowerShell, Python, Ansible, GitLab.
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL, incident/problem/change management, and logging/monitoring platforms.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- (Optional) Certifications in ITIL, security, or cloud technologies will be a plus.
