**Job Title:** Enterprise Security Generalist
**Role Summary:**
Serve as a pivotal member of the Enterprise Security Operations team in a Fortune 500 environment, coordinating security strategy, training, and operations across multiple locations while supporting regulatory compliance, contract management, and investigative functions.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver security services and training enterprise‑wide.
- Support regulatory programs (CFATS, MTSA, NERC‑CIP).
- Manage project elements of physical security build‑outs and budgeting.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration (HR, Legal, IT, Compliance, HSE).
- Execute investigative duties and maintain liaison with law enforcement.
- Demonstrate growth mindset toward leadership roles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate on site security plan development and execution.
- Provide security‑specific training to locations and staff.
- Assist in implementing the enterprise security management system.
- Support the national contract for uniformed guard services.
- Aid regulatory security programs (CFATS, MTSA, NERC‑CIP).
- Manage physical security build‑out projects.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and account managers.
- Help NRG locations budget for security services, systems, and maintenance.
- Maintain active liaison program with federal, state, local law enforcement and industry peers.
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, IT, Compliance, HSE for risk‑based security solutions.
- Support the Enterprise Security investigations program.
**Required Skills:**
- 2+ years progressive security management (military, government, law enforcement or enterprise).
- Strong knowledge of risk‑based security practices, standards, and procedures.
- Experience with access controls, CCTV monitoring, intrusion/event systems.
- Ability to conduct confidential investigations, interviews, and evidence preservation.
- Independent work style with minimal supervision.
- Analytical thinking and initiative to keep projects moving with limited resources.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Willingness to travel extensively on short notice, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Management, or Criminal Justice (minimum).
- Preference for Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Business or related field.
