**Job Title:** Business Analyst – Supply Chain
**Role Summary:**
Provide business analysis expertise for supply chain operations, focusing on Warehouse Management (WMS) and Transportation Management (TMS). Partner with stakeholders to define scope, capture requirements, and translate operational needs into functional technical solutions. Deliver documentation, support system enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Expectations:**
- Complete requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping within project timelines.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity of deliverables.
- Deliver data‑driven insights and recommendations to optimize distribution, inventory, and forecasting processes.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and support end‑user training and production hand‑offs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and transportation teams to understand operational processes and define project scope.
- Gather functional requirements, create user stories, and produce detailed documentation (use cases, process flows, gap analysis).
- Analyze current workflows to identify improvement opportunities for accuracy and efficiency.
- Support enhancements, custom builds, and integrations for the organization’s WMS platform, including system upgrades and optimization projects.
- Coordinate cross‑functional testing, issue resolution, and production support activities.
- Provide analytical insights and data‑driven recommendations to support supply chain performance improvements.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst in Supply Chain, WMS, or TMS environments.
- In‑depth knowledge of distribution, transportation, inventory management, and forecasting processes.
- Experience supporting or integrating with WMS/TMS solutions, including custom or legacy systems.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP (preferred) or JD Edwards supply‑chain/logistics modules.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, documentation, and user stories.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis credentials are preferred.
