Job Title: Business System Analyst
Role Summary: Design and implement technical integrations between enterprise platforms, collaborating with stakeholders, architects, and developers to align solutions with business needs and organizational standards.
Expectations: Deliver integration solutions that meet functional requirements, ensure scalability, and adhere to security and quality standards; maintain accurate documentation and provide effective defect resolution support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and assess integration feasibility across applications, databases, and infrastructure.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for technical integrations, including data mapping, workflow automation, and system interfaces.
• Design integration solutions with enterprise and Salesforce architects, selecting appropriate integration platforms, APIs, and messaging systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and organizational standards.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve integration defects; support quality engineering and stakeholder teams.
• Document integration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Communicate integration plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, managing expectations.
Required Skills:
• Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Kafka) and API design (RESTful, SOAP).
• Data formats and protocols (JSON, XML, CSV, HTTP, FTP, SFTP).
• Database concepts and experience with relational and NoSQL systems.
• Cloud platform integration (AWS, Azure).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role focused on technical integrations.
• Relevant certifications (TOGAF, ITIL, Salesforce) preferred but not mandatory.
