Job title: Cloud Administrator
Role Summary:
Lead the management, planning, and execution of a multinational’s migration to Azure, overseeing ongoing operations of Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and hybrid environments. Ensure secure, compliant, and high‑availability cloud services while monitoring for threats and responding to incidents.
Expectations:
- Minimum 5 years of cloud administration or architecture experience, primarily on Azure.
- Proven migration of on‑premises to Azure and hybrid environment management.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as defense, manufacturing, or government.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Azure cloud environment: configure, monitor, and maintain resources.
- Drive migration of legacy services (M365, SharePoint, Intune) to the cloud and maintain project continuity.
- Implement and enforce cloud security controls to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other defense‑industry regulations.
- Continuous monitoring of cloud infrastructure, detecting anomalies and responding to incidents promptly.
- Apply identity and access management (IAM) best practices across all services.
Required Skills:
- Azure administration, including subscription, resource groups, and network configuration.
- Cloud migration expertise: assessment, re‑architecture, cut‑over, and validation.
- Security fundamentals: access controls, encryption, threat detection, incident response.
- IAM tools (Azure AD, conditional access, role‑based access control).
- Automation and scripting: PowerShell, Terraform, Azure CLI, and configuration management.
- Monitoring solutions: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, or equivalent.
- Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Intune administration and governance.
- Understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and compliance frameworks.
Required Education & Certifications:
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and regulatory compliance in cloud environments.
