Job Description: **Job Title** Senior Data Analyst **Role Summary** Provide advanced analytical insights using Power BI and data‑science tools to support decision‑making across all charity functions. Lead best‑practice standards, review peers’ work, and present findings to stakeholders. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years in analytical roles with at least 3 years developing Power BI solutions. - Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and model building. - Demonstrated ability to give constructive feedback and coach junior analysts. - Agile delivery mindset and strong stakeholder communication skills. - Commitment to the charity sector, ideally with passion for child‑protective work. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting pipeline. - Author complex data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and deploy to production. - Review and mentor analysts, setting high-quality benchmarks. - Advise on analytical work across domains (statistics, economics, data science). - Translate analytics outcomes into clear, actionable presentations for stakeholders at all levels. - Promote and disseminate analytical best practices within the team and wider organization. **Required Skills** - Advanced Power BI development (models, DAX, deployment pipelines). - SQL, Python and/or R programming. - Strong quantitative analysis and problem‑solving. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Agile development experience. - Experience in giving constructive feedback on analytical work. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Power BI) preferred.
