**Job Title**
VRD Studies Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, produce, and manage technical studies and drawings for road, urban, and civil infrastructure projects, including water, sanitation, and green networks. Handle documentation from concept to execution and support the agency’s growth and client delivery.
**Expectations**
- Graduate with a 5‑year engineering degree or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of VRD/urban planning experience or recent graduate from an apprenticeship.
- High level of independence, analytical thinking, and strong communication with public and private clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office; experience with COVADIS or MENSURA; Revit a plus.
- Ability to manage GIS/SHAPE, cadastral, and topographic data, and produce QA/QC documentation and tender dossiers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and refine VRD and urban design drawings from sketch to construction.
- Produce 2D/3D models, level calculations, and topographic interpretations.
- Compile detail drawings, calculation notes, quantity take‑offs, and technical specifications for tenders, including stormwater management.
- Prepare licensing and administrative documentation (building permits, road access approvals).
- Maintain and format deliverables in AutoCAD, COVADIS, MENSURA, or similar 3D VRD tools.
- Manage GIS data (SHP), cadastral records, DT, topo, network maps, and GPS data.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, track time for cost accounting, and support public project presentations.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), MS Office.
- Experience with COVADIS or MENSURA (preferred).
- 3D modeling and MNT skills; familiarity with Revit advantageous.
- GIS proficiency (SHP data handling, cartography).
- Strong written and oral communication, teamwork, creativity, rigor, and organization.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Certification or formal training in VRD studies, urban planning, or related disciplines preferred.
