Job Description

**Job Title:** Artificial Intelligence Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance intelligence operations. Work with system and software engineers to prototype, integrate, and maintain AI models within the existing RAD architecture. Serve as a technical liaison across cross‑functional teams, presenting AI strategies and ensuring alignment with operational goals. **Expactations:** - Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. - Telework up to 2 days per week. - Deliver AI solutions from concept through production, continuously improving performance and reliability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead end‑to‑end design and development of AI models, including prototyping, coding, and system integration. - Conduct exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured datasets; identify data quality issues and recommend preprocessing steps. - Train, evaluate, and validate multiple machine‑learning models, ensuring accuracy, bias mitigation, and performance metrics meet operational standards. - Deploy and manage models at scale using AWS and MLOps pipelines; maintain model lifecycle and monitoring. - Serve as a technical liaison, communicating AI concepts, trade‑offs, and implementation plans to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Research and apply emerging AI technologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch). - Experience with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, RDS, S3) and MLOps tools (Kubeflow, Airflow, CI/CD). - Strong data analysis, statistical modeling, and model evaluation skills. - Ability to write production‑grade code and maintain code quality. - Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience). - TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. - AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or comparable certification is preferred.
