**Job Title:**
Software Development Manager, OTS Delivery Software Engineering
**Role Summary:**
Lead and develop a global team of software engineers focused on designing, building, testing, and deploying custom firmware, software, and cloud‑based services that support Operations Technology solutions across fulfillment centers and field IT environments. Drive quality, process excellence, and collaboration with product and program management to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 3 years of engineering team management and 7 years of overall engineering experience.
- 5+ years of leading multi‑tier web service design and development.
- Proven ability to manage full SDLC (coding standards, reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, certification, live operations).
- Experience building cloud (AWS) or other cloud‑native applications.
- Strong hiring, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Track record of process improvement and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication with technical teams and senior leadership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high‑performing engineering team.
2. Set and enforce rigorous software quality and process standards.
3. Partner with Product Management to translate feature requirements into clear deliverables, launch plans, and service expectations.
4. Conduct system design reviews, triage incidents, communicate status, and resolve critical issues rapidly.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery, dependency management, partnership workflows, and operational excellence.
6. Articulate and execute a technical vision and strategy for the team.
7. Promote a culture of rapid iteration, data‑driven metrics, and continuous learning.
8. Maintain best‑practice engineering practices across code quality, CI/CD pipelines, testing, certification, and live‑site operations.

**Required Education & Certifications:**

- Relevant cloud or software development certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) preferred.
