**Job Title:** Sr. Cloud Administrator **Role Summary:** Lead cloud infrastructure management and CI/CD pipeline automation for a global life sciences platform, prioritizing security, scalability, and operational efficiency. **Expectations:** Requires senior-level expertise in cloud systems design, multi-cloud deployment, and automation, with a focus on AWS and Azure. Prioritize hands-on cloud operations and collaboration with cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for continuous delivery. - Configure and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS primary, Azure preferred) for high availability, security, and cost efficiency, including networking, IAM, compute, and Kubernetes (EKS). - Architect and deploy scalable, multi-tier cloud solutions (load balancers, databases, platform services) for mission-critical systems. - Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) to automate resource deployment and ensure consistent environments. - Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues impacting production systems; provide advanced technical support. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and compliance standards. **Required Skills:** - 6+ years managing production cloud infrastructure (AWS mandatory, Azure experience preferred). - Proven expertise in designing fault-tolerant, scalable systems with performance and cost optimization. - Strong experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration. - Proficiency in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git-based CI/CD platforms, Ansible). - Scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python. - Working knowledge of cloud networking, relational and non-relational databases, and system integration. - Collaborative communication skills to align technical strategies with business objectives. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted. - Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) preferred but not mandatory.
