Job Description

**Job Title:** Platform Engineer I **Role Summary:** Designs, deploys, and maintains platform infrastructure to support reliable, scalable, and secure product delivery in cloud environments. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to automate deployment, monitor system health, and provide first‑line incident support, escalating complex issues as needed. **Expactations:** - Deliver robust, scalable infrastructure for product development and deployment. - Automate deployment processes and monitor platform stability. - Provide first‑level support for production incidents and collaborate with stakeholders. - Continuously improve engineering practices and stay current with industry tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and implement infrastructure for application development, testing, and production. - Configure and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Monitor system performance, availability, and logs; perform routine maintenance (backups, patching). - Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, escalating to senior engineers when required. - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to meet platform requirements. **Required Skills:** - 2+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, or related field. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Scripting in Python or Bash; basic Linux/Unix proficiency. - Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing; familiarity with Git. - Experience with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk). - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) preferred.
