Job Description: **Job Title** Python Developer – Infrastructure Automation **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services in Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy) to deliver automation and self‑service capabilities for internal teams. Build and manage Terraform modules to expand the Infrastructure‑as‑Code initiative, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions. **Expectations** - Deliver clean, maintainable code aligned with best practices. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve the entire software development lifecycle. - Support production operations, troubleshoot incidents, and drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and test RESTful APIs using Flask and SQLAlchemy ORM. - Create, version, and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and configuration. - Use Paramiko for remote server automation and management tasks. - Manage source code in Git, conduct code reviews, and participate in CI/CD pipelines. - Participate in requirement gathering, architectural design, and deployment planning. - Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues; maintain uptime and performance. - Document API specifications, infrastructure diagram, and operational procedures. - Collaborate with DevOps, security, and platform teams to enforce infrastructure and coding standards. **Required Skills** - 3+ years of Python development (Python 3.x). - Proficiency with SQLAlchemy ORM and Flask framework. - Experience writing Terraform IaC modules. - Ability to use Paramiko for SSH-based automation. - Git version control and Linux command‑line proficiency. - Strong understanding of REST API design, documentation, and security. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or similar certifications are a plus.
