Job Title: Azure AI Architect
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AI solutions on Azure that align with business objectives and architectural principles. Act as a bridge between business strategy and emerging AI technologies, driving innovation and ensuring enterprise-wide consistency.
Expectations: Deliver AI capabilities that support key performance indicators, comply with governance requirements, and enhance competitive advantage. Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and influence strategy through technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AI solutions using Azure AI Services (e.g., Cognitive Services, Speech, Vision, Language).
- Lead end‑to‑end PoCs on multilingual transcription, intelligent document parsing, and cognitive search.
- Evaluate and integrate diverse AI platforms (cloud, on‑premises, hybrid, open‑source, vendor).
- Define AI delivery approach that aligns with organizational strategy, architecture principles, and compliance mandates.
- Collaborate with enterprise, data, solution, and principle architects to embed AI into the broader technology ecosystem.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend technology advancements.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI deployments (Azure DevOps).
Required Skills
- Proven experience designing AI/ML solutions on Azure Cognitive Services.
- Hands‑on expertise: Python (data workflows, Azure SDKs), C#/.NET (enterprise integration), React (frontend POCs).
- Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, Azure AI orchestration, and pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Cognitive Search (keyword, semantic, hybrid), OCR, key‑value extraction, and document layout analysis.
- Strong understanding of Azure OpenAI Service, Content Safety, governance, and DevOps pipelines.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Azure AI, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications preferred.
