Job Description
Job title: Process Safety Management Consultant Role Summary: Deliver process safety consulting for industrial clients, leading analytical workstreams, designing interventions, and training teams to reduce risk and improve operational safety. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality client engagements, meet project milestones, drive business development through proposals, and demonstrate adaptability in diverse, remote teams. Key Responsibilities: - Identify best practices and implement PSM solutions across multiple sectors. - Observe, interview, and analyze client operations; conduct DILOS assessments and data analytics. - Develop actionable recommendations, technical designs, and high‑quality presentations. - Deliver training, coaching, and workshops to client staff. - Lead complex project workstreams within multidisciplinary consulting teams. - Contribute to proposal creation and participate in client business‑development meetings. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles and standards (e.g., OSHA PSM, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). - Engineering background with strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills. - Project management and workstream leadership experience. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑engagement abilities. - Ability to produce client‑ready documentation and proposals. - Language: fluent in French, proficient in English; comfortable communicating across cultures. - Adaptability to remote, cross‑functional, high‑performing teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (or related discipline). - Prior management consulting experience or experience in a core industry (oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, etc.). - Significant process safety management experience, preferably with recognised PSM certifications (e.g., PSM I/II).
