Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Systems Integration, Verification & Validation Engineering Analyst (New Grad) **Role Summary:** Support the integration, verification, and validation of advanced mission‑critical communication systems for land‑based defence environments. Work in Agile, multidisciplinary teams to develop test plans, execute lab and field tests, analyze results, and contribute to system qualification and delivery throughout the product lifecycle. **Expectations:** - Review and trace requirements, interface documents, and design artifacts. - Develop and execute integration, verification, and validation test cases. - Identify, document, and resolve defects; verify corrective actions. - Produce clear test reports and verification evidence. - Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers in an Agile setting. - Continuously improve testing processes and expand domain knowledge in mission/communication systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create integration, V&V plans, procedures, configurations, and expected outcomes. - Perform firmware, software, and system‑level testing on new and evolving capabilities. - Build, configure, and maintain laboratory and field test environments. - Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; generate defect summaries and verification artifacts. - Develop and maintain automated or semi‑automated test scripts/tools (e.g., Python, Robot Framework). - Support system qualification, acceptance, customer installation, external validation events, and field trials. - Contribute to requirement‑to‑test traceability matrices and verification mapping. - Review technical documentation, provide feedback, and present findings to the team. **Required Skills:** - Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis abilities. - Ability to understand complex system and subsystem interactions. - Effective written and verbal communication; documentation skills. - Independent and team‑oriented work style; proactive ownership of tasks. - Basic knowledge of networking concepts (Ethernet, routing, VLANs, wireless). - Familiarity with test management or configuration tools (preferred). - Exposure to lab setup, troubleshooting, and test execution (preferred). - Experience with automated test frameworks or scripting (Python, Robot Framework) (preferred). - Agile/iterative development experience (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or project experience in system integration, verification, or validation is advantageous.
